CHARTER OAK COMMUNITY CHURCH
Susan Larson began her career in early childhood education as a licensed childcare provider in 1975. Since that time, she has worked as a preschool teacher, early intervention specialist, lab instructor and childcare trainer in private settings, at Clark College and within Educational Service District 112. She earned a Child Development Associate certificate and an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Clark College.

Susan grew up in Portland, Oregon and now lives on seven acres of beautiful forest land in the Yacolt area. She began attending church as a baby, with her family, and remembers asking Jesus into her heart at a very young age. Later, as a young mom, she recommitted her life to Christ and has been walking with Him ever since.

She and her husband, Rick, have ben married for 34 years and have three adult children: Jeremy, Molly and Jacob. She enjoys crafting, gardening, music and playing pirates with her six grandchildren.

Susan thinks one of the best things about her work with children and families is developing relationships and working together to create a community of supprt and encouragement.
