How Susan came to faith: I grew up in Portland, Oregon. I began attending church as a baby, with my family, and remember asking Jesus into my heart at a very young age. Later, as a young mom, I recommitted my life to Christ and have been walking with Him ever since.
Susan began her career in early childhood education as a licensed childcare provider in 1975. Since that time, she has worked as a preschool teacher, early intervention specialist, lab instructor and childcare trainer in private settings, at Clark College and within Educational Service District 112. She earned a Child Development Associate certificate and an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Clark College. Susan thinks one of the best things about her work is being able to help support and encourage young families.
